Scarabeus Pricing and Paid Services

Scarabeus is an automated Telegram chat moderation service. Tariffs are tied to a specific chat, not to the user's account.

Products

Limited tariff — default chat state. Basic moderation features are available with limits on logs, rules, sanctions and some capabilities.

Trial access — temporary full access for a new chat. Lets you evaluate the Service before payment.

Base tariff — full access to chat moderation features without tariff limits.

The Base tariff includes extended logs, increased rule limits, the full set of moderation settings and dashboard features available under the tariff. The exact set of capabilities may change and is shown in the Service interface.

AI moderation — a separate paid feature with a prepaid balance. Works independently of the chat tariff. When enabled, messages, media captions and attachments (if media processing is enabled) may be sent to external LLM providers for automated analysis.

Pricing

The price of the Base tariff depends on the chat's activity level: after the trial period the chat is assigned a level, and payment follows that level's price. Current levels and prices for Russian-language visitors are published on the pricing page: https://scarabe.us/pricing. For other locales the exact price is shown in the dashboard after login for the specific chat.

Subscription periods: 1 month or 12 months. The yearly subscription is billed at the price of 10 monthly periods and lasts 12 months.

The exact price is shown in the dashboard after login and calculation for the specific chat. The User always sees the final price before proceeding to payment. Payment is made only after the amount is shown and means acceptance of the displayed price.

The price may differ between chats of the same User because the tariff is tied to a specific Telegram chat and is calculated based on that chat's activity.

Payment

Payments are processed through available payment partners. The list of payment methods depends on the user’s country and is shown on the payment page. Services are provided to individuals.

Payment with Telegram Stars is available inside Telegram. The price in Telegram Stars is set separately from the ruble and dollar prices and is shown at checkout before payment. Telegram Stars payments are one-time: subscriptions are not renewed automatically.

The Provider applies the Russian professional income tax regime. VAT is not charged. After payment, the User receives a receipt in the manner required by applicable law.

Refunds

Paid amounts are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or the payment was technically mistaken. Technically mistaken payments are reviewed after contacting support@scarabe.us.
